Verizon cellphones to use Flash lite technology

The mobile phone industry shows once again it’s moving fast. Verizon Wireless will be using an ersatz of Flash technology on their network-related cellphones. The plugin, named “Flash Lite for Brew”, has been co-jointly developed by Adobe and Qualcomm.
But this real move isn’t really about improving readability and rich content processing on handsets. It goes beyond this. Shockwave, and with it, tons and tons of widgets, thousands of video games, opening a whole range of new applications for Verizon.
