SightSpeed now rings on mobile phones

SightSpeed 4.6 is the over night released beta version of the video calling software. But it’s in fact the version 5.0, explained Dan Farber and David Berlind over at their ZDNet blog.
Whatever its name is, the new SightSpeed brings some new nice features: SIP signaling for landline support, toll-free 800 number support, or manageable contact list via Plaxo.
SightSpeed now includes a voice-only call. Something a bit unusual for a video calling software maker but it’s only to call on mobile and landline phones. Hanging up incoming calls is also announced.
But for us, the true improvement would be when SightSpeed would dish out a robust video voice software that rivals with the Skypecast up to 100 conference calls. That would really give him a comfortable competitive advantage that would equal one year of development.
Meanwhile, you could always give it a try; the software is available in free version. But also provides a basic service with video mail storage and a pro service for those who want video conferencing.
