Ministry of Sounds: Joost another deal

Joost has already inked three big deals with Viacom, Warner Music and Endemol to provide contents to the MySpace generation. But it can’t get enough. On Friday last week, the peer-to-peer video software company announced another deal, this time with Ministry of Sound TV, the dance music hub Ministry of Sound’s broadband video division.

Music, comedies and sci-fi video clips were three big audience boosters to YouTube. Now that Joost has two of the three kind of partnerships, it’s really on the good track to the IPTV crown. The only threat would be the born-to-kill-YouTube venture set by NBC and News Corp. that is expected to broadcast full episodes of current hit shows, such as “Heroes,” “24,” “House,” and “Saturday Night Live” at no cost..
