Yahoo! is catching on Google and Skype on mobile phones. At least in Australia. A recent deal brings the Yahoo! Go Mobile service available to Ossie Nokia customers. Current users could download the software and run it on their handsets. And new one will know the service as preloaded.

The Y! Go Mobile is a package service that includes instant messenger, e-mail, photos, calendar, games, ringtones among others. Yahoo! Photos is launched today in beta version. The Yahoo! IM should be restricted to text messaging, but at least, users shouldn’t be charged for the whole service, besides by their traditional mobile operator.
