A ‘disappointing’ start for Windows Live Spaces

For an official launch, Windows Live Spaces personal pages are cranky. And Greg Phipps, WL Spaces program manager, acknowledged: “We know we disappointed a bunch of you with the issues we had in our rollout.”

And disappointment comes from “many Spaces were not rendering correctly and this significantly impacted all the great work you do tweaking your Spaces.” He added a four point list of top bugs, among them “issues with Friends Explorer and Firefox,” but comments indicate that viral functionality “Invite friends” don’t always work properly.

Although Microsoft is playing the transparent communication game, Microsoft hasn’t changed a lot its process and methods.
