A small victory for anti-wiretapping supporters. Thanks to a federal judge in Detroit who ruled this week that the US National Security Agency’s warrantless surveillance program is unconstitutional. She also added that “the wiretaps violate the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the 1978 law instituted to provide judicial oversight of clandestine surveillance within the United States.” The Washington Post reports deeper on it.
