Windows Live Messenger: final layout leaked

Any release date hasn’t been unveiled until now. Microsoft comes to the final version of its Live Messenger slowly. And silently. Nevertheless, the fan site LiveSide managed to grab some snapshots of the last beta look-and-feel. Here there are.

Some redraws have been made on the icons. They look less childish, less joyful. As you see them, the top right icons of the contact window are for VoiceMail and VoIP features. And the conversation windows also includes video conference calls and online multi-player games. Microsoft, as Yahoo and Lycos, is preparing some tactics to beat Skype down.
This layout hasn’t been frozen yet. Details, icons, could still evolve. A bit. (via, a great thanks to LiveSide)
