Vonage extends in the air

Vonage plans to start the new year with some wireless products. Handsets? Yes, but not only. Vonage’s technology could be embedded in handheld devices like cell phones and laptop computers, says Vonage chairman Jeffrey Citron, without revealing any details on how it would work.
Just like for the Vonage USB key, the announcement doesn’t impress the market. Vonage shares remained around $6.52 a pop, and are still struggling to recover from the $17 introduction price. Some analysts rumored a merger with some cable television companies (AOL?)
