Verizon likes VoIP system, but doesn’t promote its related services upfront. But by games and by Windows Live platform.
The telecoms company will be providing a free gaming area, available at games.verizon.com. From $5 to $15, players would find a variety of games that allow them to compete online against one another, but also combine voice and chat messaging. And of course, the bandwidth is far more better than could offer cable companies.
In the same time, it teams with Microsoft to provide Windows Live services in a co-branded Verizon-Windows Live home page. The switch should begin early next year, CNet reports, and should not be exclusive. Customers could switch to Google or Yahoo if they want.
