USA isn’t prepared to a cyber disaster

At some point, any telephone call will go broadband on day. In the US, more than any other country in the world. But, see, the United States lacks of preparation in case of a major Internet black-out.
The Roundtable, an association of 160 CEOs of the nation’s leading companies, states it:
“If there’s a cyber disaster, there is no emergency number to call – and no one in place to respond because our nation simply doesn’t have the kind of coordinated plan in place that we need to restart and restore the Internet,” said Edward B. Rust Jr., Chairman and CEO, State Farm Insurance Companies and head of the Roundtable Security Task Force’s working group on cyber security.
For those worried a hurricane will leave them without phone, a solution exists. For just $4,995, including 400 minutes of talk time that don’t expire until used and 150 megabytes of Internet access.
