The Nokia 770 Internet Tablet has now GPS navigation

In the GSM realm, the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet is an odd one. No cellular connectivity. But it has the rest.
Navicore, a supplier of GPS software headquartered in the same town as Nokia, has developed a special breed of its proprietary GPS software, the Navicore Personal, for the Internet Tablet. A small update, as it mainly adds the WiFi support, but for the N770, it’s a unique feature over its competitors like the Sony Mylo.
As the N770 runs on a Linux Debian version, we hope that Navicore would go deeper into the open source realms, or at least provide a development kit. N770 coders would for instance be able to tie some GPS functionalities to instant messengers, VoIP calling clients already available on the device, or put the concept of presence to another level.
