Blogger might learn something from podcasting: That voice is a much easier way to convey enthusiasm, rants, anger, irony, and any other kind of feelings.
So instead of leaving a text comment, shout it out loud. That’s the purpose of Talkez, a French online service developed by Awak’IT Group. The company also features a video comment prompter, called VLogme.
TalkEz and VLogme offer an intuitive recording process that looks very similar to other podcast service, like Odeo. First, because the interface is Flash powered and web based.
Second, because comments are stored into the Awak’IT servers, not on yours. This is cool if you don’t want to fill your server space that fast, but isn’t, if you want to moderate comments on your blog.
So far, we haven’t figured it out if you can host the applications on your own server, but this is a nice idea, for sure.
