Skype 2.5: A stealth cloak update?

The cat-and-mouse game is starting over. With the Skype new version 2.5, lots of users rave while security software companies rant. The reason? The software got a security overhaul with the recent release, enhancing its undetectability, and making obsolete current anti-Skype filters.
Bad side effects of the upgrade. In fact, not really. It’s just that companies have to update their Skype detection filters, as for viruses or spams. And this could even tout a whole security ecosystem around the Skype voice client.
And this might happen soon. Last week, according to AuctionBytes, eBay CEO Meg Whitman confirmed that Skype will be integrated deeper into the eBay seller toolkit. Bringing out some new services, such as the “pay-per-lead” service, for third parties sellers.
