For some people, it’s going to be another Skype certified handset. But it seems that the softphone company is building quickly a solid group of partnership with the biggest phone device manufacturers. Philips, Netgear already signed in. The last one is just Thomson.

The new device is called hum GE Model 28300EE2. The handset supports both landline and Skype callings (DECT), and should delivers high quality, interference-free signals, according to the release. The Skype phone will be available this fall at a suggested retail price of $149.
