Skype roundup: Version 2.6 for Windows; Skylook reaches 2.0

Skype beta launches the version 2.6 for its client on Windows platform. To us, it doesn’t seem to be a major update. The most useful addition is the bandwidth indicator ― so members could turn Skype off when their file-sharing software are on. The complete chancelog is here, see for yourself.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Hague beckoned us that its Skylook reaches the version 2.0. As a reminder, Skylook bundles and extended MS Outlook with Skype. In this last breed, Outlook users could receive SMS alerts for appointments or when a contact comes online. They can also take note about each Skype call during or at the end of the call.
