Some chairs are switching over at Skype. Rajiv Dutta, former senior vice president and chief financial officer, takes over as Skype president after supervising the heavy acquisition. He will start working on early March with Skype CEO Niklas Zennstrom and Meg Whitman, eBay CEO, on Skype’s growth and integration across eBay and PayPal. “Dutta is one of eBay’s sharpest executives, and putting him in charge of Skype shows a real commitment to the business,” wrote Erick Schonfeld from the Business 2.0’s blog. Dutta joined eBay in 1998 as finance director and will remain a member of eBay’s executive management team.
