The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination, said Albert Einstein. And if we understand this quote right, this guy will end up to be, like, the new Steve Jobs.

Here’s the situation: Ivan Escalante, who is living in Mexico, notices that office workers are spending so much time in front of their computer that they’re still sticking on the screen at lunch time. Those people, still according to Ivan Escalante, usually spend a big portion of their work day IMing each other.

So, he decided to open Guatos, his restaurant which could be the first virtual take-away restaurant. People visit his menu on his website, then take order directly by contacting him on his instant messenger. And a lunch-boy brings the commands in, according to the daily Universal.

The technique is simple but provides many advantages. It’s fast and reliable, and as everything is displayed on the dialog window, few chances are left to misunderstand clients’ desiderata.

And you, would you try this kind of food service? We suggest people using instant messenger on their PDAs to try the service too.
