New launches: Opera Mini 2.0 and Yahoo Messenger 8.0 with voice

Opera Mini 2.0, the Opera web browser for mobile phone, and Yahoo Messenger 8 are finally out.
Opera claims that its fresh web mini-browser is more suitable for e-commerce and rich content on mobile phones. Note that Jajah, the web-based VoIP system, bundles the platform after a deal sealed last April.
Meanwhile, Y! Messenger reaches its stable version 8.0. You might have noticed it; the Yahoo! strategy shifts from showing off new technology of communications (like VoIP) to crowdsourcing.
This way, the Y! Messenger becomes a playground that power users and startups “widget” to extend its basic functionalities. For example, you could try the Pando plugin that enables peer-to-peer file-sharing. Or the JetEye plugin, that allows to drag and drop links and images to the IM while chatting with others.
