Online forums revamped with voice tools: Chinswing

Drop the mouse and keyboard, and participate in conversations like you do in real life. This is pretty much what an Australian startup called Chinswing likes you to do. Chinswing touts a global message board, combining podcasting, text forums and live voice chat. Threads are considered as channels and can be followed on site or through RSS updates.

Anyone can add voice messages to ongoing topical discussions, although taking part in Chinswing requires to install a recording studio applet on computers. It would have been better to provide an online studio, or provide at least an applet more compatible than it is, working solely on Windows Vista, XP service pack 2, or 2000 service pack 3. But after all it’s a beta.
