Ahoy, MSN Live certified webcams

Here’s coming the new breed of products certified for MSN Live Messenger. The one to be available is a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

The tactic is classic, straight out of the playbook that Microsoft used to get us used to. As users will buy those products, they won’t be able to try other competitors voice clients. Skype is doing the same with its software.

Under such a deal, the webcam has a built-in microphone and presents a special button to launch video and audio calls. MessengerAdictos adds that they also feature one direct access to MSN Spaces, not currently available and supposedly capable to store a lot of vids. Aren’t those features nice? Well, we still don’t know if those webcams support the newly obsolete MSN Messenger.
