Microsoft mobile revenue on the rise

Microsoft is still struggling to make a profit from its Mobile and Embedded devices division but managed to grow steadily. Quarter financial results might show a substantial growth in revenues for the unit, although it still is a loss of $2 million, reports Windows for Devices. But compared to the same period last year, Microsoft MED is doing better, far better, from the $15 million loss.
While revenues have grown steadily, profits have remained infrequent, besides the second quarter of fiscal 2006. But the situation could be overturned if Microsoft keeps pushing that hard its unified communications concept. Meanwhile, Microsoft corporation claims a steady grow of +16% in revenues, albeit a 24% drop in profits.
