Whack hack minute: Merge 3 broadband lines into one

This is one of these fantastic Digg stories where an unknown DIY master show how to trick large companies. Paul Gale achieved to merge 3 broadband connection into one, sky-boosting the uplink beyong the speed of 2.5 MBps.

For the experiment, he played with three ADSL subscription that each provides 8 MBps, used the open source FreeStuffJunction application. The drawback or the deception comes from the downlink, which was also expected to multiply by 3, but gave a mere 6MBps.
