Jajah lands on Firefox

The Internet phone provider, best known for its web-based phone service, is launching a Firefox extension to integrate calls functionalities into the web browser.

The first comments are eloquent. Jajah extension is just great. The extension achieves to keep its simpleness. One step process: users enter their phone number and voice call starts immediately.

The extension features a in-page function, very similar to what provides the Skype toolbar. Users select a phone number in a page. A click later, phone starts ringing.

Jajah is taking advantage of the Firefox open source navigator to boost its user base. It’s not the only one ― OpenWengo has been using it for several months ― but could be so effective that the (rising star) social network StumbleUpon relies only on its Firefox extension to increase its member base.
