Enabling Skype users to talk over cellphones is a good track. iSkoot, a company who does it, keeps growing. It today announced that it has secured $7 million in Series B financing, which follows the $6.2 million grabbed last year.

The round was led by Charles River Ventures and includes previous investors Khosla Ventures, ZG Ventures, and Jesselson Capital Corp. Izhar Armony, a general partner at Charles River Ventures, will join iSkoot’s board of directors. Recently, the company inked a deal with Hutchinson-Three to deliver Skype in the X-Series offers, combining IPTV, VoIP, Yahoo! and Windows Live mobile services.
