Apple iPhone: Voice and touch-screen enabled?

A slick Altoids-like box might be the next Apple iPhone design. Another patent filing unveiled by AppleInsider relaunches the speculation about the next iPod look-and-feel. Apple might implement some touch-screen technologies in its device. Making its notorious wheel-pad disappear, until users taps the screen display.

We consider so far that there just are two design candidates for the iPhone, the first closely looking like a cellphone, the second more futurist showing no buttons. And with this patent, the later option looks a bit less stupid: Users could launch and activate any option with their voice. And when they’re on conversations, they use their fingers or any regular pen to keep playing with their phone.
