Apple iPhone, rumored to be GPS-enable, already one of the highly demanded iPod

Apple might integrate some GPS features in its upcoming stealth iPhone.
The rumor was raised by T3, by combining:
- a post in MacTelChat forums that gave references to Google Maps, “hinting that iPhoto will enable photos to be tagged with location data and plotted by origin”,
- some codes found in Apple’s latest iTunes version, which says “iTunes cannot sync photos to the mobile phone because your iPhoto Library needs updating,”
- and several Apple fansites reporting that the iPhone will tote a decent camera, as well as sizeable storage.
Summing all those elements up and T3 deducted: “why not adding GPS to that bundle and sync all the data across iTunes and iPhoto whenever it docks.” Why not, but the rumor is hard to verify.
But the non-rumor fact is that demand for iPhone, still growing although no one really knows what it will provide and look like. According to consultancy Piper Jaffray, 74% of respondents on iPod/iPhone indicated they would consider buying a cellphone/iPod combination.
