HandyPC hits the Road

This week, Linux is hot. LinuxWorld in San Fransisco, Linux announced in some new mobile phones. In this flow, German phone maker Road is launching its HandyPC (literally mobile PC), powered by Linux open source platform and the TrollTech Qtopia graphical user interface.

HandyPC integrates some WiFi connectivity and comes with the conventional set of messaging apps, as well as some office tools that can read Microsoft Office files. It includes a media player software, a web browser, and a voice recorder ― very useful to reboot yourself as a podcaster.
