Google to give away cellphones?

Eric Schmidt is the great Robin Hood of the day. “Your mobile phone should be free. […] It just makes sense that subsidies should increase” as advertising rises on mobile phones, he said at a student meetup the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Well, we have plenty of Google Ads on the Net (and also on 21talks), still, we need to pay laptops.
But, the Google CEO acknowledges his own company won’t give free cellphones. And about its business partners on the market segment, they don’t plan to make such a radical move either. That was a dream, people, now go buy a new cellphone.
