Google “talks” Blackberry

Google Talk on BlackBerry? Yes, it’s now a reality. Although it’s still a beta version, it is the first major voice calling software to be available on the BlackBerry platform. But Research In Motion (RIM), the device manufacturer, is also planning to provide Google competitors voice clients to its customers. So expect to see Yahoo! Messenger, AIM now open sourced, and Gizmo Project quite soon on the handheld. Jabber clients, such as Jabbin, could already connect to Google Talk due to the software compatibility with the well-known open source XMPP protocol. Google Talk for BlackBerry could be downloaded here and there even is a user guide for dummies.
