With its great first quarter financial results, there’s no doubt Google has enough appetite and cash to buy what it wants. And asides the DoubleClick case, Google which wants to more collaboration tools, unveiled the acquisition of Marratech, a teleconferencing software developed by the eponymous company based in Sweden.

The software, bought for an undisclosed price, is a sort of NetMeeting with real-time video. Participants could share documents and applications while discussing about them via IM or VoIP talks (and soon Google Talk). Marratech includes an end-to-end encryption to increase the security on shared data and works on all the three major operating systems.
