More Google into Apple

Google CEO Eric Schmidt keeps buzzing around the Google-Apple partnership. At the Morgan Stanley Technology Conference in San Francisco on Monday, he said that the two companies are working together on “many more” new projects.
The statement, quite vague so far, won’t get more detailed even if he hinted that Google and Apple “have similar goals, similar competitors.” Does ‘similar competitors‘ refer to cellphone carriers? Apple will launch its iPhone in June and Google is preparing a cellphone for 2008. And at the last MacWorld, Google Maps was featured among the iPhone toolbox.
