Google rounds up an Adsense for Audio

Google is about to release another Adsense product, an Adsense for Audio contents. This means media publishers, bloggers and net radio, would find another (strong) way to monetize their podcasts. But it also implies Google is hunting in the Apple iTunes podcasts.
Adsense for Audio would bundle streaming audio, on demand programs, and downloadable contents.
The leak would have come out directly from Google, according to DM’s Giselle Abramovich without unveiling any name. “Earlier this year, Google contracted with several podcast engineers to help them develop Google AdSense for Audio,” points out Google Watch’s Steve Bryant.
Although it’s still a rumor, such a move would boost blogger to podcast or use text-to-speech converters on their sites. But it’s unclear on how Google would bundle ads into downloadable contents. Will Google’s next move be ads into calls over IP?
