Global Crossing throughout Europe

First feed the USA, then land in West Europe, move as fast as you can towards East Europe and take the ex-Soviet capital, yes, we got it, it’s a war plan!… In fact, it’s less bully than that, it’s how Global Crossing announced its expanding throughout Europe.
The US-based cable company now claims to have wired more than 30,000 kilometers, over 15 European countries. And soon, its tentacles will reach Moscow, in Russia and Roma, capital of Italy.
New network units in Brussels; Madrid; Munich; and Vienna will initially allow the company to offer dedicated Internet access to customers and later to deliver IP VPN (virtual private network) services to enterprises in those cities.
Global Crossing has already begun to provide VoIP services in Europe. Still according to the cableco, its solutions fit companies that are transitioning to an all-IP voice system. They could keep using existing handsets and other equipment but use VoIP. That’s a soft and wise move that could interest many network administrators. Any wireless in this?
