GlamPhone: Elle magazine limited edition cellphone

An addendum to our yesterday’s post on stylish cellphones. Elle Magazine will start selling their branded phone in the US and Latin America through their reader base, according to this press release. The mobile, called GlamPhone, is an Alcatel clamshell phone which comes with this witty embedded gadget: When not used, the screen turns into a mirror… Is the king of women accessories going to boost magazine subscriptions or the magazine helping Elle corp. to get into the MVNO market?

Mere, depending on where you’re residing -Elle mag doesn’t ship it worldwide in the same time-, but the Glamphone is announced for the Spring, Summer 2006.
