Fi Win: the ultimate SIP/Skype handset?

SIP or not SIP? SIP or Skype? That’s the question you wouldn’t need to ask anymore before going for a VoIP handset. Because now, there’s the ultimate universal all-in-one WiFi handset from Taiwanese Fi Win.
The candybar handset comes in four colors, technically “three months ahead of any potential competitors” as described Sam Kang, director of Fi Win’s project development department, to AFP, can even do instant messaging ― with only the dialpad ―, and does all this without any software.
But the truth is: Why on earth would your handset need to support all those protocols while it can not connect to your landline phone?
The phone does only support the 802.11b protocol. And it doesn’t merge your separated Skype and SIP-voice client contact lists into one unique, so the phone would do the work for you the next you call someone.
PS: If you want an universal software, there’s the PSGw 2.0 (Personal Skype to SIP Gateway)

I show this notice in two days ago ;-) in http://www.messenger.es/2006/06/07/primer-telefono-dual-skype-y-sip/
Yup, I know you did. As Gizmodo also reported it a couple of days ago. But I wasn\’t sure if I wanted to write up something on it. Anyway, justice for all, everyone knows now you did break the news. PS: Like I said before to you, it matters to me that you keep just translating my writing into Spanish to put them on your blog without saying you ripped them from here. That\’s quite plagiarism I would say. And I know you did not only with me.
Nuno, who are you talking with?
Sean, I was talking to David. You see, I don’t mind of rebloggers, but I really don’t like plagiarism. That’s just pissed me off. I’m sorry to bug everyone with this.
ok, it doesn’t matter,
