EQO enters the MySpace side

Providing Skype has been the primary activity of EQO. The Canadian start-up has been touting its eponymous service that allows mobile users to make VoIP calls via Skype ― they’re quite reluctant to include SIP voice clients.
Now, they start charming the MySpace generation with an upcoming widget for social networks (understand: MySpace, Facebook or Bebo).
At first glance, the move could considered as an organic grow. Nowadays, if you’re a good company Web 2.0, you have to get into those waters. After all, Meebo has done the same with its widget MeeboMe some weeks ago. But EQO will have to foster some loyalty in a population that overreacts to the hype. And it will have to do it with only Skype. Which starts to loose its superb.
