Cable vs Telcos, cable operators will be touting triple-play offers soon. Comcast is moving first, providing the service in Boston and Portland, Oregon. AT&T and Verizon Communications Inc are expected to do the jump. All those companies have a common partner, Sprint Nextel.

Comcast is also interested in WiFi phone, with a wireless service available as an add-on for subscribers of its triple play package. The price is $33 a month for 200 minutes and such services as voicemail, navigation and call forwarding. As we saw in September, cablecos are doing awesomely in North America about VoIP telephony, outbeating telcos’ growth.
