CheckPhone, a security VoIP company, grabs $10 million

CheckPhone, one of the biggest secure VoIP companies in Canada, keeps growing well. The company recently grabbed $10.2 million USD from Trio Capital investment firm and the Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec.
CheckPhone develops a platform called ETSS (Expert Telecom Security System) to protect any convergent telephony network against intrusion, interception, modification and denial of service. In 2005, the company was picked as one of the most innovative companies and received a €450,000 grant by the European capital Oseo Anvar.
