Remember the WiFi N-standard? The 802.11n? The draft that captured a lot of attention then sunk into some WiFi industrials Cold Wars? Apple may be preparing a new model Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro and iMacs ready for the technology. The reason lies into the Apple iTV, believes MacWorld. Streaming big chunks of contents over the waves would require a lot of bandwidth.

For the record, a few G-routers are currently available. NetGear and Airgo are developing them. The 802.11n standard is supposed to boost WiFi connectivity up to 600 MBps, six times faster than the classic Ethernet connection.
