Rumor of the day: Apple new iPod unWiFied?

Apple Taiwan denies an important feature of the next iPod/iPhone: The device would come without any WiFi connectivity. Stormy deny; in this scenario, iPhone would see the day with a terrible handicap to its ‘evil’ cousins, Zune of course which de facto could connect to hotspots but also the Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS, which all have integrated some WiFi connections.
True or… Apple is preparing to sell WiFi add-on module? What’s your take, enlighten readers?
