CNet ask Brian Curry, AOL VP of business services, about a possible interoperability with Windows Live and Yahoo messengers. Brian Curry answers: “I think we are slowly making our way there…”
Slowly making its way, AOL sure is. AOL is about to launch its AIM for corporate users. The pro version shows the same basic functionalities, voice and video features combined with a news module to eyeball business news headlines and quick search the Web. An additional and charged module allows corporate IT administrators to monitor the security level of the application.
The only unsure features is the one-to-one video conferencing, which could be expanded to allow four-way conferencing, says Curry.
