Oops, it happens again. Some engineers at VeriWave have discovered a glitch in existing 802.11 Wi-Fi networks, that would impact on voice quality of WiFi and also create some end-user problems in network authentication. But, Veriwave, based in Denver, Colorado, doubts that any amendments made to existing 802.11a/b/g standards to avoid the problem, although takes part in the definition of 802.11x standards. The alternative would to include the discoveries into the 802.11n upcoming standards. But that’s not for tomorrow.
